Facilitating workshops is my happy place! Encouraging people to explore their creativity in a fun, low pressure environment is hugely rewarding. I’ve worked with all kinds of clients, from corporate to council, with community groups and with participants of all ages and abilities. We experiment together, create all kinds of exciting things and it’s always really great fun! Do get in touch and we can chat about what you need…for your community event, team building workshop, hen party, kid’s birthday party or anything else you have in mind. Take a look at the gallery below to see some examples.

Selected workshops

  • two young women holding colourful collage paper decorations

    Young Barbican

As part of a Young Barbican takeover I facilitated sustainable paper craft workshops for ages 14-25. We experimented by decorating with collage made from paper scraps and created a variety of 3d decorations using all kinds of different shapes. My favourite comment from the weekend was “I feel like a kid again, I’d forgotten how much fun it is to do stuff like this” :)

  • a girl holding some handmade collage paper bunting in a cafe

    East Wick & Sweetwater

To celebrate the Jubilee, EW+S asked me to come up with a themed drop-in workshop for kids as a part of their community party. Using simple templates, we cut and pasted colourful shapes onto our bunting to make loads of celebratory garlands that the kids were really excited to take home with them.

  • a mother helping her daughter decorate a paper decoration with scissors, marker pens and glue

    Waltham Forest Borough Council

This mini community festival (held at St. Johns churchyard in Leytonstone), had loads of activities for families, including my 3d paper decoration workshop. It was a brilliant day with parents working alongside their children to help them create some fantastic, creative decorations.

  • two women doing colourful paper craft in a cafe

    Pimp My Paper Chain

Working with a community group for East Wick and Sweetwater, we worked together to push the boundaries of the humble paper chain! Using leftover materials, the group experimented with different collage and construction techniques with an emphasis on creative exploration and a lack of rules.

  • two women and a girl holding paper heart garlands with paint and other craft materials on the table

    Love Heart Garlands

A Class Bento workshop. We used potato stamping to decorate the pages of old books and then traced around templates to cut out heart shapes and make colourful garlands for people to take home and hang on their walls. We got messy and had a lot of fun!
